Nursing (B.S.N.)

Earning your nursing degree is flexible, convenient and affordable with regional campuses and online programs. You can choose from face-to-face programs or registered nurses (R.N.) can complete their bachelor’s or master’s degrees online.

The following nursing programs are available at select regional campuses:

Basic B.S.N.

Students generally apply to this program prior to their junior year in college.  This full-time “lock-step” program takes five consecutive semesters to complete. Admission is limited and occurs each spring at UCF Cocoa and UCF Daytona Beach. Graduates are eligible to sit for the R.N. licensure exam.

Concurrent Associate of Science in Nursing (A.S.N.) to B.S.N.
Students who meet or exceed the admission requirements may also apply to this unique, alternative dual-enrollment program. It allows qualified students to take A.S.N.-level nursing courses at Seminole State College in Altamonte Springs or at Valencia College (West Campus) while taking UCF nursing courses at the same time. Students will complete their A.S.N. degree with more than half of their B.S.N. credits already earned, allowing them to complete their B.S.N. degree from UCF in just one or two more semesters. The concurrent program was established to address the nursing shortage by partnering with public community and state colleges to increase the number of B.S.N. prepared nurses entering the workforce in Central Florida.

Registered Nurse (R.N.) to B.S.N.
This web-based bachelor’s degree completion program is designed for registered nurses who have an associate of science degree in nursing or have completed a diploma nursing program.
